Statement: My current set of work is concentrated on a move towards the past. By specifically selecting source
imagery from family photos I have sought to create a facsimile devoid of personal style and gesture
resulting in painting that retain an objective photographic quality. The size of the paintings produced concentrate
the viewers gaze on detail that could be overlooked.
