showcases work by 65 artists who have been featured in the online
exhibitions organized by Energy Gallery. These are locally and
internationally well-established artists coming from Canada, USA, UK,
Ireland, Finland, Italy, France, Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, South
Korea, China, Australia, New Zealand, India, and Nigeria. Their works
constitute a wide range of mediums including painting, sculpture,

Durée is an exhibition curated by June Rhee, showcasing
work by Toronto artists Harvey Chan, David Cheung, Sharon Cook, Henry
Ho, Mark Isaac, Joni Moriyama, Doris Ha Lin Sung, & Seong-Kyoo Jeon from
South Korea.
Curatorial Statement.
The title of this show reflects the philosophical nature of the works
created by the eight artists who explore the meaning of time and space.
The term, borrowed from Henri Bergson, refers to a “real time” that is
perceived qualitatively. According to Bergson, no physical conception of
time and space can explain the multiplicity of consciousness and
imagination. The artists in this show share their perception of time
with various themes and styles. Through each artist’s work, we will
experience the time flowing with various speeds and directions in a

Energy Gallery is an arts organization operated by professional artists,
art instructors and curators for promoting emerging and established
artists globally. Recognizing that we live in an information age within
a global environment, Energy Gallery operates without geographic
