In 1998, Hojin Kwak received his first MFA degree in Painting from Hong Ik University, South Korea. Last year he also completed a second MFA degree in Painting & Drawing at the State University of New York, NewPaltz, USA.

He has exhibited extensively in Korea and the USA and his artwork is collected by The National Museum of Contemporary Art, Korea. 

He has been an art instructor since 1998 at colleges and universities such as: An Dong University, Korea.1998-2000; Hong Ik University, Korea. 2000 - 2002; Soong Eui Women’s College, Korea. 2002

Currently he is an Adjunct Instructor at the Art Department, SUNY, NewPaltz.
