Linda Findlay AOCA, BA, MA

Linda Findlay graduated from Ontario College of Art in 1984. She received a bachelor degree in Sociology and Art History from University of British Columbia in 1994. In 2005, she completed a Master degree in Art Education at Simon Fraser University, Vancouver, BC, Canada.

Interested in light, and how to represent it, Linda explores how light is projected through various elements. Currently interested in water, and its varied interpretations and meanings, these paintings are built up with multiple layers of glaze.

Linda has a keen interest in art education, particularly in how to engage non-artists in art making. Besides working as a therapist for artists, she also teaches art classes in the Vancouver area.  Currently, she teaches painting and drawing at Langara College, Vancouver and exhibits her works regularly.
