Victims - Simulation Tunnel - White Box Art Center, Beijing, China
Multi-media interactive installation - 13m x 4m x 4m (back 3m x 3m) - 2015
Simulation of a Chinese railway worker trying to escape from an exploding tunnel
at Fraser Canyon, B.C. in 1883 during construction of the Canadian Pacific Railway.
Audiences were invited to play a few random notes with an Erhu (a Chinese musical instructment) connected to a computer.
After the notes were analyzed by an app, a series of 3 eye images with different scales of dilated puipls were shown.
The selected eye and pupil eventually displayed will reveal the fate of the worker.
Large (green) = uninjured, medium (yellow) = injured, small (red) = death
