Artist Statement
The function of an artist is to identify, interpret and express his or
hers reality. My art is a combination of my conscious and subconscious
reacting, defining, and understanding the world around me. My creations
are not intended to glorify, glamorize, condemn or rebuke the conditions
of the world. I intend for my work to act as a beacon to the evil and
negativity beneath the surface of our society. In effect, stimulate the
viewer to think, talk, examine and rectify the problems throughout the
world. Objectivity and truthfulness is the core of my work.
