		Artist Statement
Throughout history conflict and strife have propelled humanity forward
		with
unmatched force. Societies thrive on strife, economies prosper,
		populations
are unified, powers centralized and cultures revitalized by the
		necessity of
invention. It could be argued that peace and harmony stand in opposition
		to such full scale prosperity!
The work of Donna Anderson Kam investigates the social and political
dialogues between conflict and prosperity, and the consequences of the
culture of fear at its core.
